ABSTRACT: The investigations done on this artifact, led me to the most convenient procedures and interventions that can be done in the process of restauration of iron artifacts. So I have chosen the most compatible method for this kind of material also based on its conservation status.Impregnation with epoxidic resin after mechanical procedures were made, lengthen life of the artifact .This is possible only if conservation rules are observed, which are essentials in this case too.

REZUMAT: În urma investigaţiilor realizate am încercat să aleg din multitudinea procedeelor de intervenţii asupra pieselor din fier, metoda cea mai compatibilă pentru tipul de material şi starea de conservare prezentată. Impregnarea cu răşină epoxidică efectuată în urma intervenţiilor mecanice uscate, duce la prelungirea vieţii acestei piese dacă se respectă întocmai condiţiile de conservare care sunt esenţiale şi în acest caz.
